John Wall
Coach, analyst and technical leader. I work where coaching, analysis and player development meet.
My career has moved between the training pitch, the video room and the office. I’ve been head coach in Swedish senior football, U19 coach and head of analysis at AIK, tactical analyst for Finland’s men’s national team, and assistant coach with Jamaica, where I also led the U20 programme and the FIFA Talent Development Scheme project. After that I scouted Scandinavia for Columbus Crew. Today I’m assistant coach at Garudayaksa FC in Indonesia.
Education has been part of it throughout. I led football education at Solna Gymnasium and coached 16–19-year-olds at NIU Nyköpings Gymnasium, which shaped how I think about player development: clear principles, honest feedback, and time for ideas to become behaviour.
I’ve also worked on the technology side of football, as Technical Director and later CEO at Fotbollsajten and as COO of GameInsight. That work taught me to connect what coaches need with what a product team can build.
